Now, Here’s How You Get Your Project Into The Queue And Start Making Money!
- It starts with a phone call to (978) 269-4861, or an email to tim@thayescopywriting.com or Contact Me. Leave me your name, company name, a brief description of your project and the best time to reach you by phone.
- I’ll call you to arrange a meeting or gather the basic information on your project by phone. We’ll talk about the size, scope, and desired results of the assignment and my availability. Within 48 hours of our conversation, or meeting, you’ll get a free, no obligation quote of your project.
- The investment for your copywriting project is quoted as a flat fee. Again, the fee varies by size, scope, and your objective. If your project is particularly large and complex an hourly rate may be quoted. If the project is on going and long term, we can discuss a retainer arrangement.
- When you decide to move forward, we’ll sign a simple agreement outlining the fee, any royalty or commission if applicable, my responsibilities, your responsibility and your deadlines. A 50% deposit for the quoted fee is required to get your project started. For PFP plans 100% of the deposit amount is required to start your project.
- The balance of the fee will be billed at 30 days net when the final draft is delivered. Transfer of the copyright occurs when the final payment clears the bank.
Note: On Pay for Performance (PFP) or Joint Venture Projects, there is no transfer of copyright.
Rush Jobs
Rush jobs are any projects that have to be delivered in two weeks or less. If you are looking for a rush job special considerations apply:
1. There is no guarantee a rush job can be taken on. I’ll have to determine if your project can be moved up without missing the agreed deadlines of other clients.
2. It’s rare when I can fit in a rush job. If your rush job can be done; you’ll be quoted the regular fee and an additional 50% surcharge for your project.
3. If you agree to the fee and rush surcharge we’ll sign an agreement and the regular 50% deposit and 100% of the surcharge amount are required to get your project going.
4. Final payment, the balance of the 50% of the normal fee is due on the delivery of the final draft. There is no net 30 on rush projects.
