I Don’t Think Your Copy Need’s to be Protected With a Guarantee—Your Project Gets Three Guarantees!
Why three guarantees? There are three ways business owner’s I’ve worked have been burned by freelance copywriters in the past:
1. One, the copy does not match the content and tone they expected.
2. Two, the copy got no results.
3. Third, their project got held up, or trashed, because deadlines were missed.
Guarantee One: In the unlikely event you don’t like the final copy then I’ll rewrite the project up to three times for free.
Weasel Condition: This is only for the work quoted and contracted for. Any fundamental changes in the scope and size of the project once underway may require re-evaluation of the quote and terms.
Guarantee Two: If you're not satisfied with the results of your copy let me know within 30 days of delivery. I’ll rewrite the entire project at no additional charge.
Guarantee Three: You get your final draft at the deadline. Should I miss your deadline—for any reason—there is a “no excuses” 10% return of the total fee for each day I’m late.
Here’s how that works. If I’m one day late, the fee is only 90% of the original agreed on amount. Four days late, and you haven’t fired me, you only have to pay 60% of the original fee.
It’s simple, if I miss a deadline it causes you problems—if so, then it should cause me problems as well.
