Spec Assignments
The Good News is I Do Spec Assignments. The Bad News is Not Yours.
If you came to this site looking for a copywriter exclusively to take your assignment on spec then you’ve come to the wrong place.
Confusing? Well let me clarify. From time to time I do actively seek spec assignments. Here’s why:
- When I want to break into a new field or industry I’ll offer to do a spec assignment.
- When I see a great idea poorly presented I’ll offer to take on a spec assignment.
- When I see a marketing campaign I know I can beat and achieve a win/win for the business owner and myself, I’ll offer a spec assignment.
There are your two qualifications for a spec assignment. First, I actually seek them out. Second, I make the offer to do a project on spec.
So, if I sent you to this site to check me out for a spec assignment, then the next step is to ContactMe. If you came to offer me a spec assignment—and I’ve failed to convince you that my skills will make you money—then your next step is to look elsewhere.
Pay for Performance (PFP)
How About Doing Business With A Copywriter Who’s Willing To Put Their Money Where Their Mouth Is?
If I make you a dollar would you be willing to pay me a dime? Of course, only if I make you that dollar!
I do reserve a limited number of assignments that pay me directly for the results of the copy. Plans vary based on your objective—pay per lead, click troughs, seminar/bootcamp seats filled, or royalty/commission on sales of your products and services.
To be considered on a PFP basis you must meet the following criteria:
- Have a solid business plan (no dreams or intentions).
- Your product or service must be legal and ethical (I only use my powers for good).
- Agree to a system that verifies results in writing (that protects you from the greedy me that may demand more money than I earned).
- A refundable deposit. Deposit amounts vary on the size and complexity of your project.
To find out if you qualify and if I’m available for your PFP proposal Contact Me or call (978) 269-4861 to discuss your project today.
